A sound I long to hear;
Padded Footsteps.
She's a nimble creature.
With a velvet like touch;
A brush of secrets.
I'm waiting for her.
A rush of feelings flow;
her soft purrs reassure me - She's near.
My small companion comes;
I see her in the distance.
A wire grin plays upon her furry features.
I'm waiting for her,
She draws in near;
Coming to a halt at my feet.
She lays there,
Looking up at me -
With a feline grin.
I've been waiting for her.
My feline Companion.
Now that she has arrived - I'm no longer alone.
