 `'=Chapter 3='`
New programming
At around the time Mitch and Jujuki were off to the library, Ren, an gargoyle who had a knack for science, was working on his latest creation: An android. He had the robotic parts all down, but he needed human features to make it really his.
The stone man stood tall over the table, his strong features showing clear signs that he hadn't gotten sleep in many a day. His giant wings were folded nicely, so he didn't have to avoid anything while walking. His lab coat was tattered from all his work, but he was so close to being done, he didn't care whether he was naked or not.
Ren chuckled lightly, finishing the last bit of his creation's face. He was perfect. Rather short, pale in skin tone, with soft pink lips. He had long blond hair, and had rosy cheeks. Ren took a couple of deep breaths, practically jogging over to the other side of the room to get the plugs and such.
He was very careful, very gentle...the android he created was very precious...It wasn't just some thing he was creating...it was his life work. Just plugging his creation in took careful work, but finally...he engaged the electricity.
It wasn't like Frankenstein, with the whole 'it's alive' thing, but he was pretty damn close. He was laughing his head off, jumping up and down, and watching his doll with much interest. There weren't any huge sparks...which was good..and there were some beeps..meaning...he was on! Ren laughed again almost tripping over his feet as he jumped again.
The doll opened his eyes slowly, taking his first breaths. He blinked, and sat up, "Ah...." He looked down at himself, and then played with his hair. His big blue eyes looked over the lab, then looked at Ren. He tilted his head to the side, blinking multiple more times.
The gargoyle smiled softly, crouching down to the others' level. "Hey there..." He said softly, "I'm Ren..."
The machine smiled, "r-ren."
"That's right..." He turned, getting some clothes, "Here you go..." Helping the small one get dressed, he frowned, looking around, "Now where are those socks...
"Socks?" the android asked, getting the hang of talking quickly.
"That's right. Socks. You put them on your feet."
"Socks..." He looked down at his feet, wiggling his toes.
Ren chuckled, finding a pair of socks, and slipping them on the robots' feet. "Now...what to call you...?"
"Call?"
"Yes...your name. Like I'm Ren. What would you like to be called?"
The android thought. And thought. It was a big decision...until finally, he got it.
"Socks!"
Ren was stupefied. He wanted...to be called....socks. It didn't make sense...none. None what-so-ever. Well, it WAS a cute name, but...
"Socks? You're sure?"
The one now called Socks nodded vigorously, and pushed himself off of the table, hugging Ren. "Yes!!"
Ren chuckled, "Alright, alright...Socks it is." He gave Socks' forehead a kiss, and picked the small one up. "Lets get you learning how to walk...hmm?"
Socks flung his arms around Ren's neck, pushing his face into Ren's shoulder. You'd think that someone made of rock wouldn't be soft...but Ren was surprisingly so. "Master's going to teach me..." He mumbled, quite happy.
The word master sent a delightful shiver up Ren's spine. He loved the sound of it, but....he wasn't cruel. "You can call me Ren...I don't mind." Ren stopped, glancing over to look out into the hallway, where there was another door that had the label 'KALVIN'. Ren sighed, knowing that his son wouldn't even come out of his room anymore. His son was a lot like him, a scientist...but he was the bad kind. Had a poor moon elf locked away in a tube for experiments. He shook his head, turning back to socks, who was looking at him questioningly.
"I'm fine, Socks, don't worry. Now...one step in front of the other..."

Done done chapter 3! once again, no blood or anything, but it'll start coming.

I'm off on a vacation for 8 days, so....no update for awhile!!
