What's our soul?
From a religious standpoint, an immortal extension of ourselves, that later goes onto Purgatory, the Heaven or Hell. I suppose that's more of a Christian standpoint...
There's also the reincarnation view. I find that one interesting.
Let me try something else though, I'm not saying this is my view (wish I knew what my view was...)...
It was suggested by someone in ToK, and I think it's incredibly interesting.
Our soul is energy.
And since energy cannot be created or destroyed, it is immortal.
When we die, it does not.
But rather rejoins the world.
As? ...Who knows what...
That was it...
Well, I've expanded on it.
What if, when we think/remember/etc, what if those thoughts expend energy.
You know, brain activity.
Well, what if that's our soul?
It's unique to us, since no one thinks the same.
That's just a suggestion, it got me thinking, so I put it here.
Not saying that's what I believe.
Not sure what I believe.
