In Gaia cinemas, you just have to wait for the minutes it's gonna show up

How to get SnowBalls
First you have to go to the center grid of an area... There will be a little hut near the statues, and you should be able to get snowballs from there. It'll show up on the bottom part of your screen, where your bar for speaking is, on the right side. Just click and point at people and shoot!

I understand with a lot of the upset, and I don't disagree on all points, but I do have to make a few comments (that I've made a hundred times before)...
Gaia isn't just one guy or one team that can work on one project at a time. We're a company of over a hundred people, with lots of teams working on different things.
We have a team specifically for sponsorships. I am the PHP lead on that team. If there are sponsorships, we're the ones who work on them, for the most part. It takes artists and Flash people as well. All told, though, it's a small segment of Gaia's staff that's dedicated towards sponsored stuff.
We have a ton of people working on Battle, site improvements, bug fixes, new features, updating old features, and a ton of other stuff. The MTV promotion mostly took the time of people who work only on Sponsorships anyway.
And in regards to comments like "This is where my money is going?" -- promotions like MTV make Gaia money, and they pay for themselves, and help keep Gaia running. We do make good money from what you guys send in, but it's NOT enough to keep this site running the way it's growing. One of the reasons Gaia got funding is because with its growth, Gaia doesn't make enough money to cover its costs.
Sponsorships were one of Gaia's options to help more money come in. Cash Shop and Cash Cards were other ideas to help us generate more revenue. They've helped out a ton in diversifying our revenue so that a bad MC release no longer crushes us the way it once did.
It's perhaps regrettable that we need to make more money, but we try to do it in ways that are fun, engaging, or rewarding to users. I've posted this journal entry a bajillion times, but it's worth a look for the first entry on Gaia's costs:
