Got it today (or, technically yestarday) from Harvey Norman. I'm rather chuffed because I've finally got a notbook! A computer of my own! Damn. <3
Vista isn't as bad as I thought it would be. xD Flip 3D is amazing, although it seems a bit gimmicky. The gadget bar is also quite snazzy. *danceydancey*
Of course, I had to purge the system of s**t like Norton Antivirus and AIM, but that
s all dont and my system looks gorgeous and runs like a dream.
I took my cam in to get serviced today, and it turns out that it needs to be sent to Melbourne for the simple operation. I'm going to be camera-less for a whole ******** month. @____@; (note to self: DON'T GET s**t IN CAM EVER AGAIN.)
Anything else? Oh yes - this Saturday I'm going to be partaking in the iultimate of geekish activities. Dungeons and Dragons! OHMAI. I've come up with my character, then decided it would be better to cemment my chatacter in my mind if I drew her. So, of course I did - it's just one long WIP at the moment, which I suppose isn't too bad. Lappy is so coming along to D&D night. wink I have to show it off to everyone!
So yes. I've had an interesting day. First I lose my cam for a month, but then I gain a gorgeous lappy! I'm even getting used to navigating using the dreased trackpad. :'D

I envy you soooooo much. I've always wanted a damn notebook computer. gonk Literally, I've ALWAYS wanted one. emo
And sucks about the camera. I've got one, but y'know it's a crappy 2 megapixel one. xD;
