Good Afternoon, Journal
I've read some more of my story Desperado and I've really enjoyed every minute of it; there's a lot of tension between the hero and the heroine's fiance, because, like in a lot of Rebecca Brandewyne's stories, the heroine's fiance ends up destroying the hero's life that he's built with his first love, and so he's bent on seeing that the other man gets what he deserves. This book is set in Texas during the early 1900's, and the heroine's working at a newspaper but then her grandfather persades her employer to let her go, so that she returns to him and after she returned to her grandfather she was told that his health was failing and he wants to see her married before he passes away, so he tries to talk her into marring his godson, so that she'll have a strong man to keep her in line; later on the eve of her wedding, the wedding is crashed by the hero and his band of bandoleros. Later the hero, Rigo, tells Araminta, the heroine, the reason for his hatred toward the man she was to marry; Rigo hates Judd, because he and a group of his cronies hurt his wife so much that she took her own life. I haven't read too much more of it, but I'm really enjoying it, and I hope that Rigo doesn't end up losing Araminta in the end. So far that's about all I've read so far, but I'm really enjoying it, and I hope that Rigo and Araminta have a happy future with each other.
In other news, I'm just hanging out and enjoying spending time with my grandma and grandpa and just wishing I'd brought my books that I'm writting with me, but I'll work on them when I get home. Well, that's about all for now, journal.
