Good Afternoon Journal,
Today's been a calm day, mostly I've been reading my new book, Desperado by Rebecca Brandewyne, not to be confused with the Antonio Benderez film with the same name; it's a very nice story about a young woman who's kidnapped on the eve of her wedding by a group of bandits, and the leader of the group that's taken her has a personal vendetta against her husband, although I haven't yet found out why, I look forward to learing about it as the book continues. I'm really enjoying it and I look forward to reading it again, as I have with so many of her other books; one time I even read one so many times that the book fell apart twice! I read it during silent reading time back when I was in middle school and they had the whole school read for a certain amount of time during their second hour class. The first time it fell apart I taped it back together and the second time I decieded, Okay, this book's been read enough, I think it's time to say goodbye and I did, but a short time later I found a brand new copy of the same book and so I perchased it and I've done my best to keep it in good condition since. Also I can't wait to read my other books Falcon's Lady by Caroline Bourne and Beloved Heart by Mallory Burgess. Judging from the covers all three of the books look like they'll be very enjoyable to read and have a lot of adventure, danger, fightes, and of corse, romance.
Also I'm still working on my own romance, horror, Sci Fi, Fantasy, and adventure novels as well as a sort of coming of age story as well. And I'm still a little upset with my self because I didn't have the foresight to bring them with me, so they haven't had any work done on them for a while; some have been sitting in my folder untouched for at least a month, because I can't seem to get my imagination to work some times. Honestly, I'm begining to think that I might not reach my goal of finishing a book, but I'm trying to keep my chin up and look on the bright side of things.
In other news, as you can see by my little character-thing, or person, I've gotten a new hair style and a new outfit; I was getting a little tired of the same old red hair, t-shirt and jeans, so I went to the salon and perchased a new hair style, as well as a new pair of jeans. Personally I like the change. Well that's about it for now journal. I'll try to write more at a later date.
