I'm such a slow writer... It took so long...

...I'll try rewriting the whole thing from memory, I think I know basically what I had...

OTHER WARNING: I don't really mean to, but I always end up writing kinda longish comments... And I've got a lot of pictures... So this is gonna take you a while to get through, probably.

OTHER OTHER WARNING: I'm blaming everything on the scanner. It messes up colors and considerably darkens the smudges I left. And it kinda screws with angle, but sometimes that's my fault for not holding the sketchbook down.

Is...Canas!

Dunno when exactly I drew this, but I refuse to scan anything earlier. Whoo? I think this is the first time I managed to draw him not-terrible, so yay~ I'm still really bad with cloaks and clothes and general, so maybe drawing FE fanarts will help force me to practice. As far as I can remember, most of the awesome peoples have some obnoxiously bunchy article of clothing.

Plaid magicians they be~

The one on the left is Lein Soren. He's my bro's character. He's directly descended from Mizu, but there's at LEAST 300 years between them... So they don't really look alike. XD;; And Lein kinda lives in a different universe... We blame it on a plot hole eating someone in between. The god of Lein's world is pretty much the king of all plot holes, so it kinda works...maybe not... Ah, well. We decided that if they ever met, Mizu would probably go on a happy rant/rabid questioning of the magic system differences (Lein uses "142 Magic" which is a pain to explain and I don't have my bro here to help. Let's just say he kicks butt with it and leave it at that.), while Lein would be wanting very much to run away from his crazy hobo wizard *insert lots of greats here* grandfather. So tada, semi-chibi doodle of rant in progress. ^^

Marker experiments!

...Mizu's face is messed up, blaming it on the scanner. My first try with my awesome markers of doom! Jade lacks his glasses, hat, and wings 'cause I'm cheating and making this easy, yay. He turned out okay enough, for a first go (eyes suprisingly worked out, despite my lack of any other grey than a too-dark one). I wish there was a way to cheat on Mizu's hair, though. It drove me nuts. I lack any kind of yellowy brown, let alone two browns close enough that they might blend okayish. So I kinda fudged it, and it kinda almost worked, but I don't want to do it again. @__@

Lein markers

Once again, blaming my scanner. The shading on the ends of his hair isn't showing up and AUGH THE NEON YELLOW IT BURNS. Anywho, this WAS on the same page of the above two, but it got cut off by guess who? Scanner. Yep. Cheating with hat, 'cause plaid is a royal pain. Otherwise, Lein NEVER takes it off. EVER.

Oops.

Wasted a page, 'cause my markers went and bled through. Picked a not-messy spot and doodled so it wouldn't be a total waste. Why I scanned this, I don't know, but I did, so here it is. Oh, and Mizu's eyebrows are actually stuck like that. Permanently.

More markers!

Intended to be more marker practice, but I kinda...didn't...finish... XD;; Barley's colors are not friendly to my markers at all (white AND brown, just for hair @__@) and Parsley's I haven't decided on yet. Ah, well. At least Canas turned out kinda nice and I figured out what I'm probably going to draw sunglasses-less Barley like from now on. ^^

Saaaaaaiph

WHOA IT'S A GIRL. ...Arm's kinda in the way and I screwed up her face, but she is. Got tired of people just standing, so here's Saiph standing. But she's standing DYNAMICALLY. WITH A SWORD. ...Her arm looks wrong and I dunno how to fix it...hmm...

Jade Expressions!

A whole page full of Jadeness! Huzzah! Mushroom hat takes up too much space, so is gone. Wings do, too, but I actually forgot to draw 'em in most of 'em. XD;;; Top left expression is how he'd probably look if he saw his neighbor running naked through the streets. Top right I drew with the paper massively tilted, sorry. XD;; Mm... Middle...fiddling with his glasses (lost a screw?). He really has awful vision. >>;; Bottom right... Wanted to try drawing him from behind, just to see how his hair would work. But then I remembered it's an expression sheet, so he gets a little bubble. XD Wings actually diberately omitted, 'cause they would block all his hair. Bottom left... Popped into my head but I feel kinda bad for drawing it...making poor Jade cry. ;___;

Ghosty Jade?

...I'm getting bad about omitting stuff from him, aren't I? He's got his glasses back, but he lost his coat. XD;; Anywho, the skin-colored marker really wasn't working out well for me, so this was just so I could see what markers + colored pencils would look like. But now he looks like a ghooost. XD Ominous-looking smudge pattern around him... The black fadey thing... The scanner insisting on making him look almost sickly pale... Ghooost. XD

Meatloaf - Humans

Do me a HUGE favor right now and just pretend Mel (bottom-left) doesn't exist, okay? I don't even know what he looks like or much of his personality yet, but I drew him anyway 'cause the corner looked lonely. Anywho... Top-right going clockwise. Rain, Saiph, Parsley, Mel. They aren't really saying much of anything, except for Saiph (Mel's complaining about a headache but he doesn't exist, yes?).

Chibi-Saiph: I'm paid to hit things with sticks. Not to get these...number...things...

...It's getting laaate... I'd love to introduce everyone properly, but I want to get through all these... @___@ Another time, I guess...

Meatloaf - Aliens

Hey, these guys are more familiar, yes? Clockwise~ Jade, Mizu, Barley, Sohma. Don't really have a good idea of Sohma yet, but she turned out well, unlike Mel. Once again, not really saying much... Jade lacks wings again, but this time it's so I'd have room to draw the Jade-Shroom! Lookit him! Isn't he cuuute~? Anywho, blaming scanner for messing up and making a couple lines look non-existant (also for allowing a peek at a very failed Atticus Finch on the next page), thus changing Jade's name to gibberish and Sohma is now "Sofuma". Haha. XD;; And chibi-Mizu is not flipping you off. Maybe it's just me being tired, but it looks like he is to me. But he's not. That's a thumbs-up. I hope.

Ninja spies?!

...Playing Spies by Coldplay over and over again due to bro's request late at night with a pencil in hand and fuzziness in head results in this. Scanned at bro's demand, but I won't scan the rest of the page, never. *shudders*

Sleepy Time~

My kitty was sleeping on my bed~ Kinda curled up like a human might be~ So I used him for basic pose reference. >w< Made it Mizu just 'cause I don't like drawing random unamed people, but it doesn't have to be... But yay huggy pillows~ And boo to the kinda-failed hand. XD;; Took way longer than it should've, but I like it. ^^

Lucian Vaize

...Young Lucian doodled pretty quick in my agenda. Can't stand to draw him older, 'cause he's such a cute little dork like this. And his eyebrows aren't so...distinguished yet.

Happy Canas

Okay, so I was drawing, and then my brain died. Brain decided to draw a happy-for-no-reason Canas. Here he is. Yaaaay.

But then brain realized that Canas was taking up JUST enough room that it'd look really awkward to draw Rhys (whom I was supposed to draw, printed out a ref pic for him) down there. So brain doodled an apologetic chibi Canas. <3333

Here's teh RHYS

Well, I just flipped to a new page and drew Rhys there. 'Course, it was like, 1:00am so it looks kinda...off... There's something wrong with his head and I don't know what. Or maybe it's his hands being awfully small... Or maybe that he almost looks like he might be plotting something, despite him normally being all sweet and sincere and kind and stuff. D: Oh, I dunno. I kinda like it anyway... I'll get him better next time. ^^

Soren/Senerio/Whatever

Not quite sure why, but I really like how he turned out. ^^ First time drawing him...couldn't resist making him all adorable~ Yay~ Haha, you can sorta see the happy Canas through the page. *blames scanner* XD;; Writing says Senerio, 'cause that's what his name was originally (*has been looking at too many Japanese fansites*). Both his names are cool. Much cooler than... *shudder* ...Kilroy. Poor, poor Rhys. I mean, Kilroy? It sounds very...ill-suited for a healer.

...Oh, and I was not thinking of FE9 Soren when I decided that Mizu's last name would be Soren. XD;; Was a book I was reading... Someone was being called "Master Soren" and I thought it had a nice ring to it~ So I borrowed it. ^^;

BUT ANYWHO. I AM DONE. HUZZAH.
