Hole-Lee-s**t last weekend was so much fun. My mom, Cynthia and me all went to MetroCON. It was the most fun I have had in a long time and the best part was being able to spend all my own money. We stayed at tha Mariott across the street from the Convention hall [Haha, closer than the designated "Convention Hotel"] and stayed up until like 3 in the morning on Friday and Saturday. Okay, where to begin..
Friday- Went to work until 1pm and got off early to go pick up Cynthia and head on to the Convention. We had to wait a little longer to go though because of Cynthia's dad and the money and all that jazz. We got out the door and blasted Final Fantasy Music in the car. This was because of the Final Fantasy Ball later that night. It was Final Fantasy 8 themed. >:3 So we got to the hotel, checked in and got our keys and down to the convention we went. We got our passes and me and cynthia went on our way. We went to the Dealers Rooms first. I fell in love with the hot guy at the JRock stand. I bought a shirt on Saturday just to touch him. xD But, on Friday I got my hands on an Original Dears Exclusive Gackt Poster. Mawhaha.~ Oh, and I went to the AnimeAudio.com stand and got a Original Japanese Copy of MoonChild as well. I was in love, it was the only copy there and it was only 32 bucks. <33 So yeah, it was worth it. After a few hours it was nearing 5:00 pm so we went back to the hotel and changed into our dresses and such. We got in the elevator, got stared at, got off, got stared at, and headed across the street [small street] and got stared at, honked at you know the deal. The ball started at 8:00 and we learned to waltz from 6:30- about 7:45? it was so much fun. We had a table up front. When it was quiet I yelled "CID, CAN I HAVE YOUR PHONE NUMBER?" I was rejected. ;0; So we met like 39735387 people, saw sarah and hung out with her and then waited for Steve/ Sean to come. We went to the rave, it was gay and we just chilled in the lobby-ish area at the convention hall. When it was 3:00 am we went to our motels and went to bed.
Saturday- Woke up too early and we got ready with our cosplay. We were just school girls, but so many people said we looked like we were dressed up like girls from Fruits Baskets. We weren't even trying. xD Cynthia forgot her shoes so she wore my flip flops. Uhm, we went to the Dealer Room and I blew all my spending money. 10 mangas, 2 gackt CDs, AFK hat and other stuff I can't remember. I had 300 to spend, I split the cost of the hotel with my mom [150 for her, 150 for me.], 45 for the pass so altogether I spent 495 for the weekend. Uhm, we went to the rave and stuff, lots of panels, watched the little movie "Full Metal Fantasy" - Funny stuff, Cosplay Contest, Anime Idol.. Saturday was so busy.
Sunday- Depressing Day. Last day of the convention. We basically hung out in the front row of the Main Ball Room at the convention because all the events were in there. We had the best seats too. MetroCON is the BIGGEST CONVENTION IN FLORIDA. WE ALSO BROKE THE CONGA LINE RECORD AT A CONVENTION. -Dances.- I was like, the fifth person in it too, so me, Cynthia, Sean, Steve and a couple of the voice actors were the ones who started it. We rock. XD
So then I got home and cried, and slept. I was so depressed for like the whole week. Oh yeah, Cynthia and Kevin work with me at my job now. Hoyeah, now that's awesomeness. I got a Printer last week for free. Norm [Boss at work] gave it to me. :3! I went and saw War of the Worlds on Friday with Mom, Kevin and Cynthia. Lots of fun, good movie. Really good movie EVERYONE GO SEE IT. We had too much fun on the ride home. Kevin rocks when he's a "white guy" XD "DUDE, LIKE SO TOTALLY BUY ME A MOUNTAIN DEW."- You had to be there.
