That's the second time I've gotten an INTP quiz result. I don't know about my multiple intelligences result on that same site, though. Normally I get pretty high in spacial, but three of those intelligences include memory, and I don't really have one of those. I have brief, fuzzy videos of my past. Random facts and phrases. For books, I have the scenes I saw in my head while reading with the actual words sort of pasted over them. And I have songs running through my head, but not the whole song. One bit that goes over and over. And I had to put that I'm "rarely" better at algebra than geometry because I am, in fact, always better at algebra, if I'm remembering correctly. I remember algebra being easier, except when I had a calculator that couldn't do matrices. Of course, they were in different grades. Algebra in middle school, and geometry in . . . high school? I must have had some other maths throughout high school, and it was only geometry once. At any rate, I made better grades in calculus in college. Maybe I answered incorrectly due to my lack of memory. Also, I used to think I wasn't good at math, but I've realized that that was only because most of my math classes relied so much on memorization. Like formulas and multiplication tables. My college professor actually explained the formulas. That way, even if I forgot one, I could remember the reasoning behind it and figure it out, and then figure out the problem. I was usually the last one to finish a test, but I did finish, and I got decent grades on them. So there? Take that, meaningless quiz I took voluntarily for fun. So. I actually have more money to spend than I thought. I did buy a DVD player, finally. I'll be able to watch my region 2 DVDs, and they'll only skip if they're really messed up. My oldish but decent copy of The Rocky Horror Picture Show skipped during "Touch-a, Touch-a, Touch Me" and ended up nearly at the end of the movie. My brand new copy of Shaun of the Dead skipped about five minutes before the zombies broke into the bar and landed on the basement scene. My brand new copy of Metalocalypse had a few small skips on the first disc. I hardly dare to fast forward or skip chapters any more. Sometimes I'll fast forward and it skips to the end or beginning of the disc. But no more! I also bought the first series of QI, because I only have two non-region 1 DVDs. And because I think I'll like it. And because Stephen Fry. I saw a TV show with Alan Cumming, but it was about £50, so I forced myself not to consider it. I did think about a few nice, fine flexible nibbed fountain pens, but for now I'd rather just get converters for a couple of pens I already have but haven't been able to use yet. And maybe a couple of bottles of ink. I'm thinking about sealing wax, but I'd like to have nice stationary for that. I found an old friend on MySpace, and added her with five of my cousins and the one random add request that made sense. We started talking over MySpace messaging, and not long ago we exchanged addresses and started sending letters. But now we've both run out of stamps. I sent her the third series of Blackadder. Tremble in awe of my mighty gifting powers. But really, I think she likes it. I was a bit worried that I was sending her something I like rather than something she might like, but I couldn't think of anything better, and I looked. I looked so long that I was almost late, and I had to spend extra for two day shipping so it would arrive in time. I tend to spend too much on gifts anyway. Like when I was in Italy and I bought my cousin a nice, largish music/jewelry box in Sorrento, and my parents made me save it for her graduation because it was so expensive. It was really a good thing I wasn't able to buy anything in Rome. I was already out of money, mostly because of Pompeii and my cameo obsession. I don't even wear them any more. I just horde them. I got a cameo pendant, ring, and earrings set for half the seller's original price, though, and the people I was with praised me for my bargaining talent. I don't actually have any. I just couldn't decide if I wanted it, because I really liked the pendant, but the ring was much too big and the earrings were larger than I wear, and I did wear more jewelry at the time than I do now, so I couldn't decide if I actually wanted the set or not. So I stood there forever, thinking about it, while the seller kept lowering the price. I finally bought it when he wouldn't go any lower, because I would have bought the pendant alone for that price. I'm saving pictures of the orphan I have right now. I was helping a few orphans a day, but I like this one. It's a box orphan, which wasn't the one I meant to eventually keep, and the name is just okay, but I like everything it says. Mimi is very twitchy and bitey. So Mimi Xu is staying, even if only in my signature. I might change the pictures a bit. Add items or something. I'm not sure. I'm taking screen shots of every thing it says. I think I'll erase "Help" from some of them. I need to go carolling in towns. Well, not need. I have a few days. I still haven't taken Threadless pictures for STPs, and new shirts come out tomorrow. If I wash my hair tomorrow morning and figure out a good place to set up the camera, I can take pictures with daylight and my lamp. I keep my window covered, and the covering is tacked in place, so I don't get much sun in my room. I could stay in one place and switch shirts. Then, as long as girly smalls and mediums don't both sell out too quickly, I can get new shirts without spending a large chunk of my remaining xmas money. Worst Jobs in History marathon on History International on Tuesday! Um. I also got a Tin Man nutcracker. I can see myself sinking into fan-girlyness again. I also bought the RHPS film soundtrack. The older one with two songs missing but less talking. It's cheaper, and the newer one seems to have some quality issues. I also bought a cd of the play, because Tim McInnery, which is a bit funny because all the reviews I've read of that cd say it's great except for his performance. But . . . I really liked him in Blackadder. So there, people I don't know with equally valid opinions. I also bought Bioshock, and I'm thinking about Elder Scrolls IV and The Orange Box. Not the GOTY Elder Scrolls, because that appears to require a hard drive, which my 360 doesn't have and which I'm not going to buy right now. But, I might wait for The Orange Box. Maybe I'll finish Bioshock first. By that time, there might be lots of cheap, used copies. Hmm. I'm hungry. I don't think I have anything else to say.
