I cannot say that I am some great martial artist, but I do have some proficiency with the Bo smile

I got a replacement Bo the other day. It is made out of some nice red oak and seems to be very very good. It was made in China and I think some Shaolin monk or somebody wants me to be really careful, because it came with a warning:

"WARNING
Use and misuse of Martial Arts weapons involves serious risks, including injury, disability and death. Weapons are sold only for training only under expert supervision, for demonstrations of forms, collection or display. Do not use weapons for sparring or contact. User assumes all risks of injury."

Ok, I have this great Bo I want to train with and they want me to just sit and LOOK at it? What if it falls over and hits me on the head and I die? If I didn't train with it I won't be able to deflect its death blow!

I just thought the warning was over the top, but I understand why they have them wink
