Hurrah, hurrah, the anticipation builds, and I am struck with the need to gab in my own little place about my great excitement.
Oh, Mister Gambino, you are certainly a plotter, a planner, but are you an evildoer as well? Truly, the events within G-Corp are suspicious to say the least, alarming when using restraint, and a downright outrage when taken at face value, all speculation aside.
Well... everyone can read the journal entries of the lab techs, and Gambino has not posted in his own journal for some time.. Where has the most powerful man in Gaia gone? Who knows?
One thing is certain: the rock has begun rolling down the mountain, and behind it rattle a billion pebbles, rocks, and boulders. Dirt and dust fill the air. The avalanche has started, my dearies. It is too late for the pebbles to vote. Events are sweeping us all along, and all we can do is move with it, though this world, this community, will certainly be changed for-ever.
For your edification: The G-Corp Investigation. These guys are the first, best source of information on events pertaining to G-Corp, save the *mum*ed Admins, who know all and speak more cryptically than a Vorlon - but that is their nature, and this is as much their game as it is ours. Who are we do deny them their fun, as they watch us react to each stimulus they toss out?
Yes, folks, I'm excited. I don't get much chance to be online here - college alone is a thing that makes much time and energy, and when one is involved in the college theatre department, one has even less time and MUCH less energy. I've been a part of Gaia for a little under a year and a half. I've seen a lot of stuff go by, and this is by far the biggest.
Breaking the fourth wall, for just a moment... I must say, I think the use of the daily journals within the G-Corp framework was marvelously brilliant. It is an infrequently unexplored way of telling a story, but monstrously (hehe, is that a pun I smell?) effective. If only, if only, Mister Gambino would make another journal entry or two! There's so much that can be read why what is said and by what is not said!
Brain thinky, because a chuckle relieves us from the maddening anticipation sparked by current events:
674. The grim fact is that we prepare for war like precocious giants and for peace like retarded pygmies.
