Kat nosed among the bushes, intrigued by where she now found herself. She had no memory of getting there, but it was a nice place. She now tunneled through the thick briars, avoiding cuts as she made her way through them. Suddenly, a tree's trunk rose from the gloom. She grinned, scaling the branches quickly. When she reached a place where the branches would have given away at the wrong move, she stopped and looked out and about. The swaying of the tree comforted her. She looked about at the surrounding countryside. Large, black creatures wandered about, sniffing at the ground.
They were interesting beings and she watched them closely.
