I wish I was a little star
Shining in the sky
I wish you knew my troubles
As you look me in the eye
If only you could see the pain
Beneath my fading mask
But I still can not tell you
Even if you ask
The lies which I have spoken
The tales which I have told
Haunting me and crowding me
Not ever leaving my head
I know you're here beside me
I know you are my friend
But all these secrets will haunt me
Until the very end.
