On Sunday I was in Sparta at Eric's church for an open mic he put together. So he asked me to play a couple songs. And I did! I first sang Blame It On The Weatherman and Eric played guitar because I'm not good at that song yet, and then I played guitar and sang Penny On A Train Track. I was so nervous I thought I was going to puke! My voice was all shaky at first, but then it got better. I also had a cup of coffee before because I was super tired, so that made me all hyper and shaky too. Ha ha ha. But, people were so nice. They came up to me and told me how good I was, and even some other girls got up there and sang for the first time too just because I did! Tammy also played a song she wrote for Eric a few years ago, and it was the cutest song ever. She played well also. My dad played four songs, and my mom read a poem. And of course Eric played a few times too. The guys did a good job as well and so did my mom reading. So anyway, I wanted to share this experience with you guys. I have it on video, but it was so dark you might no0t be able to see anything, but will be able to hear. I also am thinking about maybe playing at the open mic in Shelby called "Fourth Friday". If anyone wants to come they are welcome. I know Travis likes to go. The next fourth friday the will be having on the 5th friday because of the holiday season. That is on the 30th. So I have class in one minute gotta go!
