Well, tonight I found out that one my old cats is dead..Well...Went outside into the woods, which in that area there are all sorts of things that would consider a big fluffy Maine Coon cat to be a wonderful Happy Meal,(Cyotes, Cougers, Bears, Bobcats, Owls, Hawks, ETC...), and hasn't come back...When I heard that he had just gone missing, I figured it had only been for a few days or a week...You know...No REAL biggie! Cats disappear and then come back! He could just be locked in someone's house or garage or something! But then....I got the next bit of news....
"Oh, he's been missing for several months now."
WHY wasn't I told this?! APPERENTLY he's been missing since AUGUST and it was just a giant case of "Oh, did you tell her?" "No, I think I sent an email about it, though..."
Three weeks after Willy disappeared, apperently there was a big storm and they found a fluffy little girl tabby cat out in the rain...They named her Sophie, and apperently she's really sweet and nice...Kind of one of those stories you hear about in movies and in fairy tails.
I still can't beleive Willy is gone, though...I got him when I was 7 when he was just a little fluffy black kitten...He was my friend; When we were both kids, we would constantly play together...I would go outside with him and have adventures and stuff with him...We would sit on my bed and try to catch moths...We practiced our abilities to fly off a ladder in my room onto my bed...Hell, he even played mother to our other two kittens we had when I was 7....Knock on wood, Molly and Gus are still okay.
He was my friend...I haven't seen him in a long time, but knowing he was alive and well was always nice...It just doesn't seem real that he's really gone...And that he's BEEN gone for several months...
