Southern California Fire The fire over here is terrible, and a lot of people in other states haven't even heard of it. ******** media. I'm out of high school for a week, but it's not one of those, "Yay! No school!" things. I may have to evacuate my home soon. I'm not sure if I will, but as I look out my window right now, the only thing I can see is smoke. A lot of people in my neighborhood have already evacuated. I can hear explosions. Nevermind, that was just my dad in the garage. Still, it's really bad out here! I don't want to loose my house! How will my chinchillas and my cats deal with this? I'm worried.

	Oh you're a Cali too huh? I'm a Bay Arean. Last week at yoga class there was a BIG earthquake! We were all in this weird position then suddenly everything started shaking! It was a 5.6 based in San Jose (I'm in Fremont). It was scary...it lasted about 20 seconds. Everyone ran outside... Earthquakes are fires just seem normal to California though. It's like they happen all the time. At least for the fires, they happen year round. It's kind of like a seasonal thing. So the news probably just gives it a little blurb in other states. Like "In other news, there's a fire in California!" and that's it.
