Nikkori
This is mainly where I write songs. I don't write much about my thoughts because it would take too long to explain D':
The younger, knowing more, imparted wisdom to the elder.
Lately, I don't know why, but I've sort of gotten a muse back. I've been writing more songs/poems, but it does feel like I'm channeling and that it wasn't me who -created- them. I do think in concepts and not words, so for them to flow so freely feels unnatural. This song was inspired by a number of things. What a lower-ranked demon said to Evani, observing her being happy during the day but breaking down at night, repeating this cycle every day. Also, Panic! At the Disco's style of word incorporation. Smooz's rant on songs not having meaning anymore / Bob Dylan's Blowing In The Wind. Although I can't actually remember how. Probably because one of the other crap songs was based on universal individuality, and this one drew from that somehow. Even though I can't remember that either. but yeah:

Broken moons cascade from
Shards of sky long-forgotten
Deviated by waters unnaturally formed
But then melt next minute and are gone

Strings can't support bodyparts
They cannot hold you together
There's no way to avoid breaking (without blood)
Stitches can't last forever

Your mental distortion twists your shape
Into something apparently so beautiful
But next evening tears come again
And the disappeared light's deceitful

~because you seem to think
that you're stronger now there's less pressure
but it's only passed onto someone else
you're more burdensome than ever~

Strings can't support bodyparts
They cannot hold you together
There's no way to avoid breaking (without blood)
Stitches can't last forever

I hope you learn to heal before tomorrow night
because your wounds are open yet again
and of course it'll be me who cleans them up
when day's over and you break again

Strings cannot hold you together
Stitches cannot last forever
They can't support bodyparts
There's no way to avoid breaking without blood

Strings cannot hold you together
Stitches cannot last forever
They can't support bodyparts
There's no way to avoid breaking
without bleeding first.
