Hey it's me, Tommy and I'm coming home in about five days v.v well, coming back to Utah anyways... I'm going to miss everybody here, it's been so awesome! Lately I've just been sitting around/walking around doing lots of thinking and I decided to make a tribute to my cards. Here is my top five from year 2000-2007
My top five favorite Yu-Gi-Oh! Cards.
Five: Summoned Skull
The first card I have ever had. I won him in a KidsWB contest before the actual card game came out. Skull and I have been through thousands of duels, good and bad. He was an awesome monster, only needing one tribute to summon and having 2500 attack points, he could destroy almost any monster. I love my Summoned Skull lots.
This card represented my father. Both of them I loved very much and they were both strong and stern.
Four:Mirror Force
My favorite trap card Mirror Force was given to me on my fourteenth birthday, five years ago, by one of my first girl friends. Mirror Force has protected me and my monsters again and again, as well as taking out all of my opponents monsters, giving my guys a chance to strike back. I love the Mirror Force because it uses my opponents strength's against them.
Three Magician's Valkyria
This is Magician's Valkyria. She is a kind and very protective of all of her friends, infact her ability allows her to take any attacks, so that the other's won't be harmed. She was the last card I added to my old deck, I got her in a Shonen Magazine. Before I had her, I always wanted her part of my team and since I added her, her strong defense proved useful. I love Magician's Valkyria because she is awesome.
Two: Change Of Heart
Although this magic card is banned from the game, it's still my second favorite card. I recieved her when the card game first came out. I went on a buying spree of about 20 Metal Raider's packs and the best card I got out of it was Change of Heart. Well my little brother Steve actually got the Change of heart card first, but he gave it to me.
Change of heart before it left the game helped me in many duels, just like all of my friends she could turn any duel around. I still keep her close with my, although the deck she came from is no longer in use, she will always be in my heart.
One: Dark Magician
That's right my number one favorite card is the Dark Magician. Ever since Yugi played this card over and over again, by the time the Weevil duel was first aired I feel in love with this card and over the years that bond has grown. In Summer of 2001 when the Yugi starter deck first came out I bought it and recieved my Dark Magician and ever since then he's been in my deck. He was stolen from me once, but somebody got him back for me.
Dark Magician is the duel monster embodiment of my best friend Dave, both of them are so similar in every way, they're tall, they're strong, they're brave and neither has ever betrayed me.
We've been through so much together. He's been fused, he's been Nightmare wheeled, he's been controlled, but every time he was in my opponents grasps he had never done any damage to me, I always had Magic Cylinder and Kuriboh to make sure of that, I could never take damage from him and I would never neglect him. Now him and I have sadly parted, I felt it necessary not to use him in duels any more. He has fought wars in the ring and it's time him and all my other friends lay to rest. Thank you so much for always being there.
I shall love those cards forever and they will always be with me.
