Sometimes I wonder why I even bother. People who never went to college have perfectly happy, content lives; meanwhile, I'm struggling to pay back my loans on a minimum-wage income and spending every spare moment on applications for jobs I never get close enough to touch.
Sometimes it feels like the fight against destiny is the only thing keeping me going -at this point, I'm surely not in it for the results. The only reason I don't give up is because I would hate myself for being the kind of person who's satisfied with complacency.
