That guy is great, since he had to give us such bad new, he didn't charge us for looking at it, but wanted us to get it out of his shop. We're trying to figure out what to do with it right now, but until then Evan's dad Jim is letting us borrow his mercedes and has offered to sell us his firestar (sunstar? I'm not sure what it's called)
We got this car back in either '00 or '01, when our Thunderbird broke down. My dad showed up and shoved Evan and me into his car and drove us to the auto mall. I remember looking out the window as we got to the Ford area and seeing this little purple '97 Escort just sitting there and thinking to myself, "Wow, no one's going to buy that."
We looked around for a while until the car guy brought us over to it. Turns out to be the cheapest car on the lot because of it's color (4k), and after a test drive, we decided it was the car for us. heart
It's also the best car we've had, and we've had 4 of them over the past 9 years. eek
It was named "Royal Plum" because Evan and I couldn't decide on the actual color. He say's it's 'royal purple', while I state it's 'plum'. Maybe you can decide.
