Okay I've been at band camp for nine hours every day for the past two weeks. I might seem a tad crazy...BUT
It was just the pit and we were all sitting around stretching and Blaire (our teacher) came in with a CD to stretch to. And he had a whole story behind it that just cracked me up.
The band's name is Royksopp and they are an Electronica/Dance genre.
Their music is interesting and their first album came out in 1999. BUT the first time a huge group of Americans ever heard it was in the Geico commercial in 2006. It was the song Remind Me. And it's hilarious.
But the band is made up of two, Icelandic, homosexuals. That's what made me laugh. The album name is Morning A.M. I believe.
It's really some okay music. I've gotten somewhate hooked onto it you could say. *shrugs* but whatever.
Just thought I'd spread the word.
