Let Go
I’m so high
My feet can’t touch the ground
I’m so scared
Of being let go
Please Daddy don’t let go of the back
Please Daddy don’t let me fall

I start peddling and look ahead
I feel so high
I’m going so fast
My feet don’t touch the ground
And I see my daddy waving his hands
Now I’m not scared

I’m so alone
I don’t know anybody
I’m so scared
Of being let go
Please Mommy don’t leave
Please Mommy I don’t want to be with out you

I take a step and look ahead
I feel so alone
I don’t want to grow up so fast
Until I see somebody I know
And I see my Mommy waving at me
Now I’m not scared

I’m so happy
But I’m also frightened of the world
I’m so scared
Of being let go
Please Mommy, Please Daddy, don’t let me go
Please Mommy, Please Daddy, don’t let me fall

I wipe the tears and look ahead
I feel so happy
I don’t want to grow up so fast
But I know you’re right behind me
With a helping hand
So I won’t be scared.
