I have been told by the 3D artists that they will be able to release a housing update this month! whee Stay tuned for more information.
I went back and read something again from Juno's Journal. Mention of housing items coming this month. There are two different sets I would love to exist... and I can take one or the other and be happy. Dungeon or Mad Scientist's Lab. They're pretty close, really. I mean, if you're going for something like Dr. Frankenstein's lab, then you're going to have the stone walls and chains and such anyway. I suppose more castle stuff would work, but they did do some castle type stuff... what with the suits of armor.
Ooh... to have a rack and an iron maiden... those'd be cool.... you know, for decore.
And while I'm at it... a few other things that'd be cool... a pinball machine, uhm... a half opened revolving secret door behind a bookcase or fireplace. Hell... we don't even have fireplaces. Ooh... camp gear. Create an indoor campground, complete with firepit(that works as a lamp).
Speaking of the pinball machine... we need a whole game room set. I realized we don't have arcade machines. I would so get those if Gaia made them. I could imagine a few fake games that could be created for them and a description that tells you what kind of game it is. xd And you can see that maybe one's a racing game and one's an FPS with giant red and blue guns holstered in it and one's like a classic joystick and two buttons. A wide one that's a fighting game. a ping pong table. Do we have pool tables? I don't think we have that.
Stuffed & mounted animals. I know, gross... but the description could tell you it's a fake posing scary bear or fake heads on the wall. You could do funny things with mounted heads. Other mounted things, too... like plaques, swords(and various weapons), and uh... strange looking awards. There could totally be those being actual awards.
Ok... they need to be playing some Monkey Island... there's strange decore all over those games. Also... Sam and Max Hit the Road(I love that game). Lots of crazy a** stuff that makes no sense but is damned amusing. Oh, and visit a nickel arcade for some classic arcade machines.
But anyway... I've wanted Mad Scientist stuff ever since housing was made available.
