You love the words I write

An urge I cannot fight
Words can be sweet
They are magical at times
Love can be even sweeter
I want you to be mine
Listen to my words
Do they seem wrong?
If they do, I will stop
But this has been going on for so long
You give me advice
I listen to every word
You are even more godly than me
I am just so absurd
Truth, justice, religion
You've taught me so much
God may be speaking through you
This is my hunch
I know you wait for her
But I just can't help myself
You seem very kind
I need more than your words on my shelf
Perhaps one day we will meet
Until that day comes I will wait
Maybe you and God will teach more
