X-men
Well, I was looking on amazon.com yesterday to see if I was going to get Der Mond by Yoshiyuki Sadamato, which I probably am, but some of the reviewers are really bad. For instance, on X-Men Legends some idiot took points off for the fact that you don't start with all of your powers... Now I haven't played the game, but I've heard it was good, and even aside from that, c'mon, who the hell would make an RPG in which you start with all of the abilities? He even complained that there's a gauge so you can't use your powers all the time. Really... first off it's an RPG, so you need to be able to make your character gradually more powerful. Secondly, there's always that coolness to finally getting the ultimate attack, like the first time you cast Holy in FFX, or Summon a summon Spirit in ToS. And not being able to continuously cast the spell over and over, c'mon, what's the fun of having an invincible character? His reason was that the X-men don't really have to level up to get more abilities and have power gauges, but even that reason can be completely destroyed. Using their powers drains their energy, and they have to slowly build up to use stronger abilites like lift larger objects or special optic blasts.
