Ok. Recently, summer began. People take vacations, others relax with old friends, and if you're unlucky, you still have school. But me, I have the whole summer to go out and play...not. A lot of people will tell you at least once, "Man...I wish I was in California." It's because they want to go to Los Angeles, and San Diego (where I live), Sacramento, and so on and so forth. Truth is, California sucks. Really, it does. The crime here is horrendous, the weather is impossible to predict, and taxes (even though I don't pay them) are incredibly high. So what? You might say. At least you don't live here (some might). But anyways, back to summer: the heat is ridiculous. I went outside one morning to shoot some hoops and had to come in five minutes later because I was so fatigued by the heat. It's crazy. Last summer, I think it was in June, up in Sacramento; for a whole week, it was 115 degrees outside. That's seven days of unbearable heat. No basketball, no football, no running, nothing. So, word of advice: don't come to California. Ever.
