"Time to leave..." Came the whispers from the shade,
I'm going mad each time they speak, it just won't fade
Over and over in my mind, oh how they haunt me so
They rip me from my slumber and won't let me go
No one can save me from this darkness engulfing my heart
I pull away as hard as I can, but they tear me apart
Addiction is rising, why am I unable to leave this alone?
I run away as far as these feet carry, but this is my home
Crimson flowing faster than a river down my body, I've lost it
They've claimed me and upon my throat they made their slit
Dead I am called, but here I feel more alive then ever before
Pride I've longed for resides in the freshest stains on my floor
A grin flashes over my face and you know from here it's done
I call to you, "Give me your soul, darling, let's have some fun"
You cannot resist me, the temptation overwhelms your mind
Hesitation is enough to let me take you then, you become blind
The warmth within you eases away and nothing is left behind
I take it all, then leave you with marks to constantly remind
Now you know it, here and further you are to be my pet
You cannot escape me no matter what, you cannot forget
Just let me rule you and you'll find all your worries gone
Not unlike the ugly duckling, I've made you into a swan
In the night, upon the light of the moon you'll see a silhouette
I smell you, your fear, your blood, your dripping with sweat
But the sun defeats me, here I must rest and let my prey go
Oh fear not my dear, tonight I'll give you all that I owe
