outline what the story is going to be about. type up a small thing of whats going to happen with all the charicters in the story[ie, where there adventure starts and ends, how some meet, what happens to them] organize them into pre-chapters, posibly outline a pro/epi log and then start creating the charicters in depth and then start wrighting my little roadblocks out and everything else~
