stare Oldbies on Gaia. Sheesh.

Recently, someone I knew from elsewhere on the 'net got hacked. We didn't know eachother personally, but we knew eachother and she was a decent person at the time. But anyways, I randomly saw her thread outta the blue in the Q&A forum because I was wondering how long MC's are around...

(15th to what date?)

Now, she documented what she could and got all sorts of support, especially from the art forum she came from because she must've posted there about it too. I tried to help her out, particularly because we were acquaintances and all, but she shrugged me off pretty much like n00b... Even when I tried to cheer her up with some "bash the hacker like everyone else".

Then when someone came in to say that the thread shouldn't belong in the Q&A, she and all her friends got sharp and exerted their "join dates"...

Dang. From the outside, they look like a swell bunch of friends with several millions in worth on 'em willing to lend their riches to one another in times of need. From the "inside"... They were outright snobs.

xx; While I was hanging out in the Fishing Forum, they were basically the same way with their "fishing skills"... I understand that they get annoyed all the time by n00bs who don't read the stickies (AT ALL), but the helpers and mods there aren't exactly friendly...
