chapter 1 Light

Cold wet snow hit Ally's face
as she crossed the bridge. She didn't know exactly where she was going she only new she wanted to see the unknown light that lingered is a distance the light that was drawing her near near the river of life and death. At first she felt frightened then she felt wondrous and the need to follow it. The story goes that the river will give or take life depending on the fact if your good or evil but Ally didn't know what was to become of her once or twice she felt as though someone was there with her holding her hand and dragging her along other times and perhaps more often she felt as though she was the only one in woods traveling along to that addicting light. The light wasn't white like you may have expected the light seemed to have layers each a different color there were three the inner layer was deep blue that seemed to be saying something muffled the inner outer layer was a semi dark green that shone bright the outer layer was purple and it was so bright that it was almost blinding and when she as she got nearer it got brighter to her eyes and she had to squint. Soon she was almost there and this made her happy that soon she could take a brake and when she got home she could remove her tattered garments that were filled with mud ,holes and rips.She only hopped that she wouldn't catch a cold with her drenched clothes. She gasped with amazement as she reached her destination the light.
