Now on with the story!
"Sasuke! Ohmigod! Tsunade-sama! Help! Something's happening to Sasuke!" Tsunade rushed back into the room, but as soon as she reached Sasuke's bed, he stilled. The machine above Sasuke's head that had been monitoring his heartbeat began beeping wildly! Then it, too, stopped. Looking up at the machine, Sakura and Tsunade could see a continuous green line.
"Oh no!" Sakura gasped, "Oh no, no, no, no, nooooo!" Howling with grief, she flung herself sobbing into the edge of the bed.
"No, Sasuke, don't leave me. Not again! You can't leave me again after you just returned!"
"I'm sorry, Sakura-chan," Tsunade said, placing a comforting hand on Sakura's quaking shoulder, "I came back in as quickly as I could; I just wasn't quick enough to save him." And she, too, began to cry.
