Upon clear glass no light shines.
The halls are desolate and still, with the unsettling aroma of fear.
I want to leave, but I can't seem to break the binds.
Distorted by imagination, I can see the red eyes leer.
My skin is as cold as ice, though the numbness hasn't set in.
The terror in my heart rises, so frightened that I can't even scream.
A metallic point, pressed against me... I can't help but cringe.
My breath is hot against the frosty air, the condensation like a thick steam.
The sheets finally loosen, and sunshine breaks through in rays.
All of that time, there was no need for fright.
I leave that terrible world, but the sickening evil stays.
Nothing but smoke and dreams to fear, upon that one moonless night.
