The air is frigid, frosty, cool;
Light lasts less than night
And nature settles down to sleep
So that this winter they'll be alright.
The weeping willow wears a white gown,
That clings to her curvy boughs;
While the palm-sized dormouse's heart
Slows down as he sleeps under snows.
The brown-green grass is tucked in
Under quilts of snow-sand,
Ready to pop out it's many heads,
When the bright sun graces the land.
The air is frigid, frosty, cool;
Light lasts less than night,
And as I walk on crunching snow,
Nature's there, under the white.

Description:
Just a winter poem, but I did try to go for more the old-fashioned, lyrical state than for a new genre of it.
I was using iambic pentameter, but if there is a line out of sync, just tell me, 'cause I'm always looking to improve my writing skills!
