It doesn't matter
how hard you
try or how hard
you did try
it maters how it ends up
in the end with a true
friend

I thought this was nice, but the way the lines are broken make it kind of choppy sounding. This is only my opinion, and you don't have to do this, but the last two lines, if broken at "end" instead of "true" would give the poem more of a sense of flowing and rhyming. So it would read: In the end (break) with a true friend. Otherwise, I think the meaning of the poem is good and very true. biggrin
