• At night trees come to life,
    Braches reach out for walkers,
    Twigs scratch windows,
    Waking up sleepers,

Owls hoot and spin their heads,
    Looking down mindlessly,
Most other birds are sound asleep,
Protecting their babies in their nests,

The stars twinkling in the night sky,
Screaming to tell stories of their past,
    Many new planets and galaxies,
Still waiting to be discovered and explored,

    And I watched everything,
Lying on top of a huge hill,
    Looking at the big dipper,
And staring at the shining crescent moon.
