Do you know,
Eyes blind with fear,
lungs drowning in coldness,
how it feels to die?
The fate of mortal men-
inescapable.
Outsmart it, outrun it,
you cannot.
Fate holds you tight within her grasp.
No escape from her.
Cold and clammy,
reaching our with those hands.
Indiscriminant, random choice.
Death embraces you-
you are warm.
Sink, sink deeper into her arms.
No fight left.
Just death. And you.
There is no escape,
yet you are happy.
And free.

- Title: Death's Embrace
- Artist: WindDancingDragon
- Description: Well, this is the result from a late night of studying and tea pumping through my veins. I tend to get sentimental and wierd when this happens. Some of my best poetry is written this way. I was just thinking about my friend who had died and how it would feel like. If you've lived a long and happy life, there should be no reason for you to fear death, right?

Very well written. Subject is explained nicely. Good use of adjectives.
I think, however, it could have been better if you seperated it into stanzas instead of having it in paragraph form. Other than that I thought it was great! Keep it up! - Report As Spam
