This Feeling

• Description: A guy very special to me has recently entered back into my life. He's the love I've been waiting for and wanting so badly. I'm glad that I have him, but I'm also scared. Love is a powerful feeling and it does in fact frighten me. But being with him I know I can accept it.

There's this feeling deep inside.
Slowly taking over me day by day.
It's because of you it's there,
making me weak when I see your smile,
goose bumps forming at your every touch.
Day by day the control I had slips away.
The wall I built crumbles piece by piece.
So I wait.
I wait for the day when this alien feeling will drown me in it's most passionate emotion,
leaving me completely submissive and helpless in your strong, protective arms.
That is the day when I'll confess, "I love you."
But until that day...
There's this feeling deep inside taking over me.

i think this is a wonderful poem. in the spirit of improvement i will say the writings tempo changes a lot. you could also use more intense emotional vocabulary and make this truly spectacular.
