As I was walking alone, I looked all around
Pieces of the sky were lying on the ground
With an unpleasant heart, I turned with a frown
And ran back to heaven, with feelings profound
I found God, and cried to him, "Why?"
He turned to me gracefully and responded with a sigh
"Because some people need to live, and some people need to die."
I realized in that moment; my God could tell a lie
I fled back to earth and when I arrived
Everything was dead, the world was deprived
I ran to the city, praying that something still thrived
I was quickly dismayed; no one had survived
