The last vestiges of red disappear
behind the arrogant rise of land
but this is just the beginning
of a whole different kind of place
Neon glows on the passerby
trying to entice
and handing out false promises
like coins from a slot machine
Laughter and music compete
for prestige and advantage
over the night-time community
that controls the sparkle and shine
Razzle-dazzle and dancing shows
light the starry skies
beneath which a community lives on
in a desert
In the city that never stops
