To remember clinging to his kiss in all disbelief
High over the taste of his disenchantment.
Bound in leathery wings touching mine, feathered.
A face stained with a spasm's beat of birth.
Anchored in an embrace with lips upon lips.
Would his ivory stakes, hidden, ream my heart?
Aflight like a blown kiss for love's imagined perfection
Making savage promises so as not to batter me against a rock.
Without eagle's wings soaring across the wind-loved sea.
Perfect instances of being wound in swelling dreams.
In a second, with eternal unwinding thoughts.
Time contracts in each others gaze of needed senses.
In pale moon beams we etched our future of shared wishes.
Wings of incantation flew around us with binding force.
His caresses offered eternities followed by a love, forever.
No mortal angels are there that silent kisses gently play.
We've dreamed us a sweetness strong with tears.
Was it in this caress that I first took flight in love's mist?
In breathless silence his touch smolders on me with reflected firelight.
Under midnight horizons we danced in each others gazes.
His presense ever known is on my heart and soul forever.
Sunbeams alive, yet wordless, beat upon my eyes.
Appeared from a half dream memory he's still there at side.
Against the rising tide of silence I pray to dream again.
