• Look to the sky,
    Eyes filled with wonder,
In the silent and carefree way it descends.

    It falls in your eye,
    blink.
All around you it's black and white,
    dog vision.

Silently it falls and hits the ground.
    Nothing catches it.
Every special flake is seen and fallen.
You catch one on your tongue,
    Cold and melting quickly.

    Walking around in the silence,
    The beauty.
Yet this is a deadly beauty,
    A silent death.

As it falls to the ground,
    Hear a rumbling,
    Turn around.
And through the flurries you see'
Nothing but the faint rumbling sound.

    The sound grows,
    Just a little.
The beauty still falls around you.
    That's when it hits you!

    The silent death,
    The deadly beauty,
    Tumbles you around,
    Blocking any sound.

    The tumbling stops.
    There is just white,
    No light.
    Sit there and wait,
    Cannot move,
    Numb.
    You become cold.

    Close your eyes,
    One last time,
    And listen.
The only sound you hear is the silent beauty,
    The deadly beauty,
    Falling carefree to the ground
