My angel fell from filthy skies
I fell from hell into his eyes
Love and hate and shades of gray

Evil words that shatter glass
Rob my angel of his past

Come with me to visit sin
Angels never rise again
But who's to say it isn't right
Why can't darkness love the light?

All I've ever known of grace
Was written on his troubled face
Slipped and fell right into love
My treasure's trash from up above

He carries me on broken wings
He's teaching demons how to sing
