Character Spotlight 8: Its a Duel! |

Here is is! The Duel Spotlight. Who are they? What do they have in common? Give it up for:
Fuji Shusuke and  Gin Ichimaru
Part one
Name: Fuji Syusuke
Gender: Male

Shusuke Fuji is a tennis tensai (genius). He hides behind his smile. He is always smiling, which makes him appear friendly and harmless, but when he is serious he opens his eyes. Then you should really beware. He is very analytical, seeking to expose the opponent's weaknesses, before attacking. And, BOY, will he attack.
He is the number two player at Seishun Gakuen, right behind Kunimitsu Tezuka, the team captain. His main skill is his triple counter. These are Tsubame Gaeshi (Swallow's Return), Higuma Otoshi (Brown Bear Falling), and Hakugei (White Whale.) This combined with his tensai sense make him a formidable foe. He does upgrade these techniques during the run of the show. The revised versions are called Houou Gaeshi (Phoenix Return), Kirin Otoshi (Kirin/Qilin Drop), and Hakuryuu (White Dragon). It is during nationals that he shows these new moves as well as the premiere of his “Fourth Counter” The Hecatoncheires no Monban.
He has a younger brother, Yuuta, and an older sister, Yumiko. His brother goes to a different school. Tired of being “Shuske’s little brother” he transferred to a private school to become a stronger tennis player and one day beat him older brother.
A true tensai, Shusuke is a force to be reckoned with. He strives to be the best in Japan, and he may reach his goal. You'll just to watch to find out.

I love this guy. He is such a sadist. He has a strange obsession with both Tezuka and tormenting him younger brother. “We should go on a date.” ,nice, scare him more. He is, however, VERY protective of his brother. He has a feminine grace and beauty while keeping his masculine style that is beginning to grow. He IS 14 years old. All in all, he is a scary guy to piss around with.

“Ichimaru Gin is a badass captain who destroys any enemies in his way. Ichimaru Gin was believed to have killed Aizen, a different captain, but later we found out that Aizen's dead body was an illusion.
Ichimaru is always smiling and mocking others. Some characteristics of him include his annoying smile, his eyes that never show, his cocky attitude, and his eyebrows. When other Shinigami find out he's evil, one says "Damn Ichimaru he has funky eyebrows!"”

"Ichimaru is fairly ordinary in terms of clothing, and doesn't wear any unique items. His overall appearance, however, is not so normal: his eyes are constantly slitted (earning him the nickname "foxface" wink , he is unusually thin, and he bears unusual silver hair which has a purple tint to it in the anime (his name refers to his hair color; gin is Japanese for silver). He also keeps a wide smile most of the time, which he has only been known to wipe off on rare occasions. He has also been known to open his eyes only twice, once in a flashback when he and Aizen rescued Momo Hinamori and other students from hollows and again during a battle with 10th Division Captain Tōshirō Hitsugaya (he also opens them during the ending theme for episode 27 and the opening theme for episode 91). As Gin doesn't display any emotion while speaking combined with his use of sarcasm, he is distrusted by many, most notably Tōshirō Hitsugaya and Rukia Kuchiki. Rukia once commented on how she felt like snakes were wrapping around her whenever Gin spoke. Kaname Tōsen notes that Gin has a similar effect on just about everyone when explaining Wonderwice Margera's frightened reaction to Gin. In the anime, Gin speaks with a distinct Osaka Dialect, which is also spoken by many rude, clumsy, or rather blunt characters in several other anime series. In contrast, his English dubbed voice is more formal and polite, but with a rather mocking and facetious undertone."
Cherub Speaks On Gin:
I....don't know much about this neat dude since I haven't seen Bleach. HOWEVER, I think he is a VERY interesting character. He seems aloof, while his Sarcasm beats you over the head. He has amazing fighting skill and is someone who you don't want to piss whith. Not even in your wildest dreams.
Why put them together?
Simple. While Gin Ichimaru is a scary fighter who can kill you without a second thought, Fuji Shusuke is well on his way. Both seem well enough, with enigmatic patterns and phrases. You truly have no idea what goes through their little heads. Not until they open their eyes, that is. These bad boys are down right scary when that happens. Your Creep factor will jump from 5 to 100 in seconds. Fuji, being younger, is a sort of mini-me for Ichimaru, in my eyes. These are two kick a** fighters I don't want to piss with!
