So, I did get to talk to Amber today. I know yesterday I said it would be the highlight of my weekend if it happened. But it didn't turn out to be under the best of circumstances. Lot's of drama ensued. I know a particular someone who's getting a warning shot for this incident. I want him to be aware that I don't have to be in the same state (not even the same country) as him to deal with his bullshit. I promise it would have been a lot worse if he hadn't actually appologized to me personally.
Other than that just another boring day on this four day weekend. Spent a lot of time on Gaia actually. I think Gaia is one of the best things that's happened to me since I got back from Iraq. I used to deal with my problems by zoning out playing EQ/EQ2 before I went. But now that my friends don't play and all I have is a laptop here on base, I really can't play anymore. Gaia fills the same type of role, keeping my mind off of stuff that I really shouldn't think about too much.
Tommorow I have that 24 hour duty, so I don't know if I'll be able to post a journal entry. But having it on the weekend is a bit more relaxed, you can take long breaks and stuff. So I might get to anyways. So hopefully you guys will see a new entry tommorow. Until then, I can just hope for tommorow to be a better day... (I think I say that every day of my life now, and it never comes true... Maybe the gods just hate me... sad )
