John Pelham,
John was a confederate solider in the war. John Pelham was twenty-four when he got killed in Kelly Ford. He was born in Alexander. There is a statue of him on the Jacksonville square. He’s buried in the Jacksonville cemetery located in Jacksonville, Alabama. John was in the battle of Fredericksburg. Soon the firing on Fort Sumter ,John Pelham came to Alabama and became an officer in the confederate Army. When he was on his way to the south he had stopped in philadelphia to go see Mrs. Marianna. Sevel of the boigraphers appear to know that on his trip south to take the arms,John Pelham had stopped in the philadelphia to go see his abolitionist cousin and his aunt . And that’s the resrearch of John Pelham.
