That was aimed at my body, btw. Not any of you.
As if my ******** appendix last week wasn't enough, I went to the doctor's for a checkup today, and she poked everything, not just my tummy. I mentioned that I'd been having pain around my ears, since I'm prone to mild ear/sinus infections, I thought that's what it was. She looked in my ears, they were fine.
Then she put a finger on either side of my jaw joint, in front of my ears, and asked me to open my mouth. Hideous blinding pain and a disgusting crunch noise later, and my jaw was shifted to the side by about 1/2". Apparently I've got "TMJ" whatever that is. Swelling and misalingment in the joints that move my jaw. Whenever I open my mouth my jaw clicks over and moves sideways, and it's way worse when someone pushes on them. I'm going to the dentist on Wednesday to have it fixed, hopefully.
But really, wtf. Could my body be filled with more relatively tiny but irritating problems?
