silence meets my ears
darkness is all I see
no longer can I ignore them, those who call me
shadows circle around me…there’s no fighting them
I make my final stand only to be beaten down by them
screaming, I know I am screaming, though I cannot hear
I reach up amidst the darkness, praying for someone to help me
air is all I feel then
