Divergence Character
1. Name of Character in The World- X Tenchi

2. Name of Real World Player- Jake Outset

3. Age- 18

4. Class- Heavy Blade

5. Clothing- X wears a black pair of Hakama pants and a white undershirt. Over the under shirt is a navy kimono top. Both shirts have the sleeves ripped off. That makes it so that it is possible to see the tattoo on his left shoulder. The tattoo is of the kanji of death with a wolf behind it in different grays and blacks. He wears the traditional shoes and socks. On his left cheek there is a cross shaped scar. It goes from just below his ear to above his lip. The part that makes it a cross is about an inch and a half long and goes across the middle. The smaller part is slightly curved.

Hack: No matter what weapon is equipped it shows up as a katana.

6. Eye color- His eyes are green but he wears a pair of black sunglass all the time.

7. Height- 6.1

8. Hair color- His hair is black and covers most of his face. Other then that it is fairly short in the back.

9. Personality- Jake is a very anti-social person. Some people might call him ‘emo’ but that doesn’t really fit. The eighteen year old hates life and thinks that death is a way to escape it. Though he doesn’t commit suicide because he thinks that is to cowardly. He easily hates people, but sometimes he makes friends. When he has a friend he is very loyal and his friendship isn’t easily broken. On the outside he comes off as cruel and cold hearted, but in reality he really does care.

10.Weapon/Armor-
Kikuichimonji (Hayabusa)
Head – Bandanna (Repth)
Arm – Wristbands (Juk Rom)
Body – Leather Coat (Gan Zot)
Feet – Sandals

Skills:
Hayabusa
Repth
Juk Rom
Gan Zot

11.

Fifteen years ago a little boy was all alone in a dark room, holding a knife. Just outside the room, the hallway was covered in fresh blood. A few doors down, there was a dead body. The kid needed help, but there was no one there to help. He was alone.

This is what he was good at, killing. He could forget about himself and kill. When he killed he felt safe, but alone. He wanted to be free from the fear inside. He wanted to be with someone.

Seven years since that day the kid, now a man, finds himself alone. In his right hand he held his sword, a katana. On the floor in front of him, was a girl. She lay there dead. Fresh blood rolled off his cheek onto the ground. Once again he was left with only the company of himself. He was alone. Jake wanted so bad to go back in time, to escape. This was who he was, that wasn’t something he could escape.

Jake ran from the room, the blood covering his whole left cheek. That would be the last time. He would leave, he didn’t care where he would go, he just needed to get away. Jake would leave to America, to start a new life. There he no loner would need to be afraid, he would be free. At least, he thought so.

Jake let out a sigh. This was getting boring. He was a writer, and he lived alone. To pass the time he would write about things he did in the past. Sometimes he would alter them a little, just to add a little flavor to the story. The man also should have been famous for leaving out little details that would change the entire view of the story.

The four wheels on the chair moved back as he stood up. Walking away from his desk Jake looked out his window. Mr. Outset lived in a 12 story apartment building in Japan. His first novel had sold every single copy and made a record for the amount of money brought in on the first week. This had allowed him to buy a game.

It was something called, ‘The World’. When he had gone to the mall looking for a new computer he had seen some kids playing it. They said how awesome it was, and he thought it might be a good idea to play it for new ideas for his books. Jake bought the computer first, then went back to the game store and bought the game. Sadly, he didn’t know he needed other things too. After going back to the mall and buying the needed accessories he came home.

A week later he had finally gotten around to playing the game. First he created his character. It was styled after his main character in his newest book. Then he had to choose a username. Placing his hand on his cheek he felt the scar there.

“I guess X would be a good first part…” He mumbled out loud.

The second part took more time to think of, and in the end he just went with something simple, the word 'tenchi'. It was Japanese for Heaven and Earth. The reason Jake went with that was because of one of his characters. The female character from his book was from both Heaven and Earth. He wanted her to be part of his name because, X was the symbol for his main character. Now with an X and Tenchi it symbolized how in the end of his story the two would be able to be together.

Soon the account was set up and he was ready to enter, ‘The World’.
