Haruko is one of those people who would prefer to be playingin the rain with her sister Izumi on a gloomy day then enjoying the sun at the park.Haruko is intelligent because she reads so much and has a very colorful imagination, but tends to not show it very good because of all of the energy she has, so people have always thought of her has kind of stupid and childlike, but deep down this 14 year old has an I.Q of 36.
Haruko loves to be noticed and get everyones attention by doing the wierdest things and to be noticed,showing off her Wolf ears gets lots of peoples attention... She doesn't like to be left out, but with her sense of humor and fun personality,any conversation would dull in comparison to any she could carry on. Most people think of her as sort of annoying, but shes just showing her affection for the people she loves and cares about,like any noraml dog would do. When Sarah gives you her loyalty, she truly gives it to you, it can't be can't called back or destroyed. If someone challenges her herself, Sarah won't care and will most likely insult the person with any kind of joke, but someone who has won her loyalty challenges her,she suddenly has the strength of a full-grown lion,ready to pounce on anything offending her. These instances are also some of the few times Haruko's virtually none existent temper comes into play.
Sarah is really very kind and affectionate. She loves baby animals and drawing, she loves being around her friends and cannot stand being alone, but finds most reject her because she's so rambunctoius or because she's so random that they feel sort of boring compared to her unique sense of style.Giving her any kind of candy or treat is always a way to get on her good side, and she's totally addicted to sour candy, TOTALLY.

Haruko grew up with her mother and her sister Izumi. Her mother left her father when Haruko was 7 years old, but she refused to give her up, even to family. So Haruko's mother kept her in her safe keeping,and Haruko never once saw her father again.
When she graduated elementary school, her mother went away to collect food before the winter's cold destroyed all of the plants and availible food sources living there.But when she came back,Haruko and Izumi were no where to be found.They had been captured by the humans and taken to the Black Place.
Since then,Haruko and Izumi have lived in a small cell,made completely of cement with only two openings-a door leading into the unknown workplace of the humans and a small window letting in just a bit of sunlight wich filled the room.
They have stayed in the cell,only to be let out once a day into the outside world of the humans.They have waited in agony for the day in wich they would be transformed into humans.
